Donald Joseph Qualls - better called DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from the United States. The actor gained fame following his role in Road Trip. Qualls who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly strong fighter. The cancer returned to remission two years later. Treatment at a young time had negative effects on his body. It hampered his development. When he began acting, financial security seemed to be his goal because his experience with poverty had been a part of his early years. He said, "I've been living so frugal for so many years that I need financial security otherwise the world can seem out of control for me." He thinks back to his youth and feels an urge to do something against the bullying. He is a victim of cruelty and breaks his heart. DJ's dream role would be to play a father figure in reel as well as in reality. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. He would like to become the father of his child one day so he can devote more time to his son and less to his career.
